Devichand Budagam

My name is Devichand. I am a final year student of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. I am passionate about developing self-supervised world models and learning objectives inspired from human cognitive intelligence and functional capabilities.

I am currently focused on fundamental research in self-supervised learning, reasoning, world models, interpretability, and evaluation science inspired by cognitive science and computational learning. Under the supervision of Dr. Pawan Goyal, I am currently working on adaptive diffusion language models.

Beyond my research, I am also interested in physics, human cognition, and behavioral psychology. I enjoy exploring different technologies and sciences and investigating how we can improve them in the age of advancing machine intelligence.
